The hilly landscape of Dugi Otok gives walkers and cyclists’ incredible views of Zadar's maritime zone and the more demanding can enjoy the more difficult routes that intersect Dugi Otok's landscape.
A triathlon is an ideal competition that allows visitors to fully experience the Island. Due to its location, size and variety, the triathlon will allow competitors to pass through all of its diversity: picturesque villages and secluded beaches, with magnificent cliffs and lush vegetation.
Highlander Velebit is a 104 km long hiking competition that takes 5 days to finish and includes not one, but two national parks – Nothern Velebit and Paklenica. This sports event consists of 3 disciplines: 1.9 km of swimming, 90 km of cycling and 21.1 km of running. In addition, the program includes a children's Aquathlon race.
The race is of an open international type and offers the possibility of participation to both professionals and amateurs of all age groups. It is held entirely in Zadar County (Zadar - Nin - Ninski stanovi), and through the race the competitors also have the opportunity to get to know the beauties of the region, from the crystal-clear sea, favourable microclimatic conditions, to the rich cultural and natural heritage.
The Archipelago Trail Run is a unique running experience where you’ll explore the Zadar Archipelago with every stride. Beautiful trails along the Adriatic coast, the pleasant scent of the sea, the stunning landscape of the Telascica Nature Park, and unforgettable views of the Kornati National Park. All of these are more than excellent reasons to sign up for the Archipelago Trail Run!
What makes this event special is not just the attractive destination, but also its unique format. You’ll have the option to choose between 1 stage (Saturday or Sunday) or 2 stages (Saturday and Sunday). This means you’ll be able to explore 3 islands – Ugljan, Pasman, and Dugi Otok – in 2 days. Distances range from 10 to 80 km!
The main event will be held in the charming seaside town of Preko, where, in addition to the runs, we’ll also organize a rich accompanying program with local food and good music. In the running part, you’ll have the option to choose from 3 routes every day: Short (10 km), Middle (20 km), and Long (35 and 45 km).

Named after the medieval merchant ship, Zadarska Koka is one of the largest cruise regattas in Croatia. Everyone will be able to follow the regatta unhindered from the Zadar's Riva, and its end will be marked by a concert in the evening.
Dance, ice-skate, laugh and simply enjoy the magical atmosphere. Especially during the New Year’s Eve when the whole town turns into a big party!
In its first edition in 2019, it generated enormous interest and 600 runners reported the race. It runs from Puntamika to Advent. For the race, red Christmas caps are prepared for all competitors, as well as commemorative red T-shirts. Part of the funds is donated to the General Hospital in Zadar - children's department.
