Velebit photo safari in all-terrain vehicles, visiting locations used in Winnetou films – Tulova Greda, “Pueblo”; visit to the Winnetou Museum; excursion to Paklenica, Krka and Plitvice Lakes national parks; boat excursion on Zrmanja River.
Not so long ago one of the most popular TV characters for people of all ages was Winnetou, the fictional Apache chief from the writings of Karl May. Even today we can be proud that much of the movie was made in locations in Croatia. For all fans of stories and movies about Winnetou we have created a six-day program of visits to Paklenica, Krka and Plitvice Lakes national parks, with included visits to the original locations where this series of movies was filmed. Winnetou-lovers will recognize intact landscapes from movies in the 1960’s and 1970’s. Memories of childhood heroes will come to life under the Tulova Greda cliffs, Krka River waterfalls and next to the Plitivice Lakes, but everyone else can also enjoy the majestic scenes and diverse landscapes of untouched nature.
