Vrana Lake is the largest lake in Croatia proclaimed as Nature Park in 1999. Abundant in fish, the predominating characteristic of the park is its special Ornithological reserve as unspoiledhabitat of the various water bird species. The Park represents a rare wetland system and an area of a great biodiversity valuable especially from the scientific and ecological standpoints. Revitalized and renewed cultural and historical monument – Maškovića han that was built in 17th century and was used as an in iduring Otoman invasion, nowadays is becoming an important tourist attraction especially since it is most western remnant of Otoman Empire.
