Oleg Butković, the Minister of Sea, Transport and Infrastructure opened the 18th Biograd Boat Show a few days ago. The Biograd Boat Show, the biggest boat show in Croatia and one of the most influential nautical events in Europe.
This year there were over 300 exhibitors on display, with some 20,000 people coming out to enjoy a great family day out over the weekend.
Goran Ražnjević, CEO of the hotel company Illyria, organized the boat show and in his address to the guests and visitors of the fair outlined the respectable history of this event, which has become the most important event of nautical tourism event in Croatia.
The boat show premiered new vessels, technologies, and various workshops were held. This year the main attraction was the boat ride “Nada,” which was re-introduced as another form of tourism for Croatia. Of course, there was also concerts, various gastronomic offerings, and fireworks!
The 18th Biograd Boat Show closed on Sunday the 23 October, and while all the fun is now over, you mark your calendars for October 19-22 in 2017, where the team has lots of new ideas and surprises in the works.
