If you really want to get a sense of Zadar and its surroundings one of the best ways is to embark on a gastronomic journey which begins with an appetizer. Visit the factory on the island of Pag where the famous cheese is made as a great introduction for the next authentic gatronomic trademark – Pag lamb. The next day is reserved for flavours of the sea: fish, seafood specialties and olive oil. The day will be completed with a glass of tasty wine. The sweet third day will begin in the morning with coffee and Zadar sweets, where else than in the Old Town. Instead of receipts take home a bottle of Maraschino liqueur and original Zadar pralines.
